New Testing Appointments Available

This message to all faculty and staff has been approved by Renisha Gibbs, Associate Vice President for Human Resources and Finance & Administration Chief of Staff.

In preparation for the increased population on campus for the fall semester, the University is now offering additional dates for testing and has established a new COVID-19 testing location. Testing will be available from August 5 – August 23 at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center. It is critical to the safety and well-being of the entire campus community that we all do our part to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Employees who have not been tested for COVID-19 at a University testing location are encouraged to do so and can begin registering today.

Employees who have already been tested at a University testing site should not re-test at a University location unless authorized by Human Resources. If you have already tested at the University and would like to voluntarily re-test, contact your healthcare provider or visit a local testing site. The Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) Testing Locations website provides a list of testing locations in the area. There may be situations where re-testing is appropriate, such as known workplace close contact exposures. In these cases, employees should coordinate with Human Resources to schedule additional testing.

To register for testing, please visit the University Health Services Testing website. For additional information on testing, visit the HR COVID-19 Testing website.
