Research Continuity Update XII

This message to all faculty and staff has been approved by Dr. Gary K. Ostrander, Vice President for Research.

With activity on campus gradually increasing, Florida State University is taking steps to expand its research operations. We will continue to follow the guidance of local, state, and federal officials to maintain the health and safety of our campus community while also looking for ways to increase our research capacity.

If conditions remain stable, we are planning for further expansion of research activities.

Specifics of the plan are available HERE.  Center directors and department chairs, with the approval of their deans, will be responsible for implementing and enforcing the new procedures.

The fluidity of the situation is likely to require continuing flexibility, and we will continually evaluate the status of our operations to ensure that we are doing the utmost to protect our faculty, students, and staff.

Vice President Ostrander will hold his twelfth all-campus Zoom call at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, where he will provide updates and answer questions related to this process.  To join this meeting, please click here:  JOIN ZOOM MEETING.
