FSU guidance for work study students

The Office of Financial Aid at Florida State University has been working with the Office of Human Resources, its community service partners, work study students and supervisors to address the issues that they are facing due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

On Friday, March 20, the Office of Financial Aid advised all supervisors that all work study students have the option to work remotely or on-site (if those students have remained on campus). If work study students are unable to work remotely or on-site, they must provide a hardship reason for the Office of Financial Aid to review, in accordance with federal guidelines. The Office of Financial Aid is also working with supervisors to ensure that all students are notified about the process.

The Office of Financial Aid at Florida State University will continue to monitor this group closely to ensure that all eligible work study students are paid in a timely manner.
