FSU’s Great Give takes home bronze in CASE Circle of Excellence Award competition

The Florida State University Foundation earned a bronze award in the 2022 CASE International Circle of Excellence Award competition for a 90-second video to promote FSU’s Great Give 2021.

The Foundation worked with the Digital Communications team in the Office of University Communications on the video, which announced the annual giving day’s goal of $1 million, while featuring former President John Thrasher and spotlighting campus life.

“This is the second win for FSU’s Great Give, and we couldn’t be more thrilled,” said Michael Hartline, interim vice president for University Advancement. “Global recognition like this underscores our legacy of preeminence and demonstrates the power of creative collaboration.”

Each year, CASE — the Council for Advancement and Support of Education — recognizes hundreds of institutions whose advancement staff champion their missions through innovative, inspiring and creative ideas.

In 2022, CASE received more than 4,500 entries from over 600 institutions in nearly 30 countries. Of those entries, 626 were selected for bronze, silver, gold or Grand Gold recognition.
