FSU Graduation Summer 2005.

If you couldn’t attend FSU’s Spring Graduation ceremonies or if you’d like to view a special moment again, they are being aired on 4fsu (Comcast Channel 4) in Tallahassee and are available online.

Graduation ceremonies from Friday, April 27, and Saturday, April 28, can be viewed online at wfsu.org/tv/webcast_archives.html#graduation. Previous graduation ceremonies are also available at that site.

Friday evening’s ceremony featured a keynote address by Lt. Gen. Franklin L. Hagenbeck, the superintendent of the United States Military Academy at West Point and recipient of a master’s degree in exercise physiology from FSU in 1978.

Saturday’s commencement ceremony featured guest speaker Mark S. Wrighton, chancellor of Washington University in St. Louis. During the ceremony, FSU conferred an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters on Wrighton, who received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from FSU in 1969.

Other FSU online offerings include FSU Television Headlines (www.fsu.com/video), FSU Radio Headlines (www.fsu.com/radio) and President Wetherell’s monthly television program, Issues in Education, (president.fsu.edu/issues).
