Florida State University will examine the challenges of poverty and the ways that it can be addressed in a daylong conference. The event, “Poverty in America: A range of critical perspectives on its causes, effects and possible solutions,” is a collaboration between the FSU College of Social Work and the Institute for Humane Studies at George Mason University.
