Florida State examines national identity crisis

As the effects of the economic downturn continue to resonate throughout America, how much would the public be willing to pay for a new government program? When it comes to protecting their identity, the answer is around $87 a year. This is one of the findings of a new survey study conducted by Florida State University Criminologists Nicole and Alex Piquero which examines the wide-spread and costly rise of identity theft.
