Florida State brings community together through art

Roughly 20 feet by 65 feet, a mural on the side of a building near downtown Tallahassee is a sight to be seen. The project was a collaboration between Florida State University faculty and students and members of the community, with all parties helping paint the massive piece of art. Commissioned by Florida State’s Seven Days of Opening Nights arts festival and in conjunction with the Community Redevelopment Agency’s Gaines Street Revitalization project, it features images that represent the all of the arts brought together by the festival.
