A native of Italy, Florida State University Assistant Professor of Italian Irene Zanini-Cordi recently received a prestigious fellowship from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) to finish her second book. The book will focus on the rise and influence of women in Italian culture leading up the unification of the nation in the 1860’s.
