Tim Cross, a professor of chemistry and biochemistry, receives a 2010 Florida Award from the Florida Local Section of American Chemical Society for contributions to the field. Cross’s research involves mapping bacteria and viruses such as Tuberculosis to aid in the development of better drugs.
