This message to all faculty and staff has been approved by Dr. Gary K. Ostrander, Vice President for Research.
As the State of Florida has begun to slowly reopen, Florida State University has taken steps to incrementally expand on-campus research operations. More information is available HERE. We continue to follow the guidance of local, state, and federal officials to maintain the health and safety of our campus community while also looking for ways to increase our research capacity.
The fluidity of the situation is likely to require continuing flexibility, and we will continually evaluate the status of our operations to ensure that we are doing the utmost to protect our faculty, students, and staff.
Vice President Ostrander will hold his seventeenth all-campus Zoom call at 1:30 Tuesday, July 14, where he will provide updates and answer questions related to this process. We understand that there have been instances where you may not have had the most current Zoom link to join these meetings. To keep this from happening in the future, the Zoom link will be recurring starting on July 14, meaning that the link will be the same from July 14 going forward.

As mentioned in the last Zoom Research Continuity Meeting, FSU is only posting daily COVID Updates on those days that there are two or more announcements. As such, you can conclude that we will continue to host these meetings at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays until further notice.
So, If you have any specific questions related to issues you are anticipating or are already encountering, please email Gary (gary@fsu.edu), Laurel (lfulkerson@fsu.edu) or Kerry (kpeluso@fsu.edu) and we will get you back to you as soon as possible.
