Florida State University’s Information Technology Services (ITS) will host the second annual ITS RISE Together Showcase on Tuesday, April 8.
The half-day conference, open to the FSU community, aims to foster collaboration and drive innovation across the university. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with thought leaders, participate in live sessions and discover groundbreaking work shaping the future of technology at FSU.
“FSU is at the forefront of technological innovation in higher education,” said Jonathan Fozard, associate vice president and chief information officer. “The projects and pilots we are doing right here are making headlines around the world. I cannot think of a better way to celebrate and build on those successes than a peer-led conference and meeting of the minds.”
The event begins at 1 p.m. at the Florida State Conference Center, 555 W. Pensacola Street, Tallahassee. The schedule includes three session blocks with five presentations, each lasting 50 minutes. A poster session by ITS student interns and networking opportunities will be available during a mid-afternoon intermission. The showcase concludes at 4:30 p.m.
“Each of us is part of something bigger than any one project, system or role,” Fozard said. “This event promotes innovative idea sharing and spotlights the amazing outcomes we can accomplish and heights we can reach when we work together.”
The event is free and open to the Florida State University community, though registration is encouraged. For more information, visit its.fsu.edu/rise-together-showcase.
