Many college students learn about the Legislative process first hand through internships and fellowships. In this episode of Issues in Education, we look at the Florida Gubernatorial Fellows program. It places students in part-time positions within state agencies. FSU President Eric Barron and WFSU-TV’s Suzanne Smith talk with 3 of the students who are part of this year’s program. Keturah Brown, Christopher Emmanuel and Adam Kramarow talk about what the experience is like, how the application process works, and how the opportunity has modified their career goals. Dr. Barron also talks about why it is important that students include real world experiences as part of their college education.
