It’s back-to-school time on the college campus. In this episode of Issues in Education, we look at the Class of 2015. At The Florida State University this group of students is one of the most academically accomplished freshman classes in the University’s history. FSU’s President Eric Barron and WFSU-TV’s Suzanne Smith talk with John Barnhill, Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management at The Florida State University, about the educational background of these students and the benefits and challenges this situation presents for the University. They also discuss what high school success means in the college admissions process for students getting ready to apply to colleges this fall. Dr. Barron also discusses the Board of Governors recent idea to regionalize the University system.
