January 11th marks the beginning of Florida State University’s 28th Annual MLK Week with a showing of the film Selma in the Askew Student Life Cinema, followed throughout the week with numerous events sponsored by students, administration, and alumni to bring together not only the campus community, but the entire Tallahassee community. Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs, Brandon Bowden, and the Assistant Director of the Student Government Association, Carolyn Harris detail this years theme and the numerous events and activities taking place.
