Strozier, Dirac libraries closed until further notice

This message to all faculty, staff, and students has been approved by Dr. Sally McRorie, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs.

FSU Libraries will close Strozier Library and Dirac Library until further notice, effective March 19, 2020, at 5 p.m. to help slow transmission of the coronavirus. FSU Libraries will continue to provide services remotely during the period of online instruction.

The FSU Libraries are deeply committed to serving the needs of our university community and we will continue to provide instructional, research, and delivery services remotely, through online platforms. We are actively working with faculty to embed online instruction and teaching materials in classes. We will not deliver physical books to students and faculty through Interlibrary Loan (ILL) or from our collections due to the possibility of contamination, but we will have staff on site to retrieve and scan print materials for document delivery and course reserves.

For more information about these changes and temporary closure, please visit the FSU Libraries webpage: https://www.lib.fsu.edu/news/covid-19.
