Florida State University surpassed its goal of 5,000 donors during its annual giving day event, FSU’s Great Give on March 8.
FSU’s Great Give saw support from 5,155 donors,155 over the goal in just 24 hours. Donors from 49 states and 12 countries across four continents were represented and helped fund 109 projects campus-wide.
“When the FSU community comes together with a goal, there is nothing we can’t achieve,” said Sadiki Perry, assistant director for digital and social giving for the Florida State University Foundation. “We wanted this year’s giving day to have the same excitement as a Florida State athletic event, and I think the Seminole spirit really came through during FSU’s Great Give.”
The FSU College of Fine Arts, College of Health and Human Sciences, FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship and Opening Nights received additional funds for their FSU’s Great Give efforts for reaching a pre-determined donor goal.
FSU’s Great Give will be back on March 6, 2024. Donors may make a gift to Florida State academics at any time by visiting give.fsu.edu or calling (850) 644-6000.
