The 11th annual FSU’s Great Give broke a campaign record and amassed 4,537 donors in only 24 hours, exceeding its goal of 4,500 donors. FSU supporters rallied together and raised $1,693,923 during the annual day of giving, which took place March 9.
FSU’s Great Give saw contributions from donors living in all 50 states and 11 different countries.
“This year was all about our donors,” said Sarishni Patel, director of annual giving for the Florida State University Foundation. “We set our goal on donors as a way to highlight the importance each person makes. FSU’s Great Give is all about the FSU family coming together, making small gifts that, combined, make a huge impact. That’s exactly what we did this year—I’m so proud of our Seminole community.”
This year’s campaign supported 90 projects from colleges and units across the university. Throughout the campaign, 19 incentive prizes totaling $90,000 were awarded to projects that won the challenges. The Marching Chiefs, Black Alumni Association, College of Social Work, Opening Nights and the Division of Student Affairs were among the hourly winners.
You can view the winners of both the hourly and 24-hour incentive prizes by visiting FSU’s Great Give on Facebook or by following on Twitter and Instagram.
FSU’s Great Give will return in March 2023. Donors may still make a gift to Florida State by visiting give.fsu.edu or by calling (850) 644-6000.
