Florida State University Libraries will host the annual “Love Your Library” celebration at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 25 at Learning Commons located on the first floor of Strozier Library.
The event is an opportunity to learn more about FSU Libraries and all the services they offer, including the Heritage Protocol and University Archives.
FSU Libraries feature more than 3 million volumes, 600+ databases and more than 75,000 periodicals and serials. Each semester, 93 percent of Florida State students visit Strozier Library and, annually, Strozier welcomes more than 1 million visitors.
The event will also feature comments from President John Thrasher, tours of Strozier Library and light refreshments.
FSU Libraries is the featured initiative of the 25 for 25 Faculty and Staff Campaign. Libraries do not have alumni of their own to support them. Because nearly every university constituent has used the libraries’ resources, the “25 for 25 Campaign” makes perfect sense as an excellent way to ensure that everyone — undergraduate or graduate student, staff member, faculty member or visiting scholar — has access to the tools they need to make their Florida State experience the richest possible.
