CANCELED: FSU Career Center to host more than 160 employers at Seminole Futures Career Fair

The Seminole Futures Career and Internship Fair is open to all majors and will take place from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26 at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.

Florida State University’s Career Center will hold its largest career and internship fair of the semester on Sept. 26.

This is a unique opportunity for students to network with more than 160 potential employers while exploring a wide range of professional work opportunities.

The Seminole Futures Career and Internship Fair is open to all majors and will take place from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26 at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.

“Seminole Futures empowers our students to hone their skills, expand their networks, and gain firsthand experience interacting with employers,” said Christy Mantzanas, program director of employer relations at the Career Center. “It’s inspiring to witness the dedication they show before, during and after the fair in pursuit of their career aspirations”.

This year’s fair will feature more than 160 employers and organizations, offering students an opportunity to engage directly with industry leaders and learn about available positions. Employers at the fair come from a wide array of industries, allowing students from all majors to engage with professionals from their field of interest.

“Seminole Futures is a key event for our students,” said Tiffany Leung, event coordinator for the Career Center. “We are excited to foster connections between students and employers and to see our students gaining greater confidence and clarity in their future career paths.”

The Career Center at the Dunlap Success Center on campus provides comprehensive career services to FSU students, alumni and faculty. Services such as career advising, resume writing, professional photos and major exploration are regularly offered to help students achieve their professional goals. In addition, the Career Center hosts several fairs and workshops each semester to connect students with industry professionals.
