Seven Days of Opening Nights, Florida State’s annual festival of the fine and performing arts, will go on the road for its 2009 season, set for February 13 through March 1, with a special add-on performance April 16. Since FSU’s Ruby Diamond Auditorium is undergoing renovation, Seven Days performances have been scheduled at 10 venues in and around Tallahassee.
With musical acts that together form a celebration of American roots music, plus a tragedy/comedy meld of Shakespeare and The Simpsons, flamenco dance, indie film, Pulitzer-Prize winning authors, touring art exhibits from the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art and more, Seven Days 2009 offers an eclectic, exciting mix of events.
