Florida State University President John Thrasher played host to the 2015 President’s Showcase of Undergraduate Research Excellence at the FSU Augustus B. Turnbull III Conference Center.
The showcase is the culmination of the Undergraduate Summer Research Award experience and will feature students sharing their research and creative projects through poster and oral presentations.
The summer awards are a reflection of the university’s commitment to developing students as scholars and innovators, and are a testament to the stimulating education undergraduates receive at FSU. These students’ projects share in FSU’s mission of nurturing independent thinkers who are learning to create solutions that enrich society.
The showcase is sponsored by the FSU Center for Undergraduate Research and Academic Engagement (CRE), Office of the President and the Student Government Association.
