Florida State University’s class of 2015 receives class rings from FSU president John Thrasher in a special ceremony in Ruby Diamond Concert Hall.
This is the 10th annual President’s Ring Ceremony at Florida State, and it’s become a special tradition for graduating seniors.
Senior Hayden Jernigan was part of a special moment during this year’s ceremony, because Jernigan’s ring is a bit older than most. Jernigan’s grandfather, Robert Jernigan, left his 1958 FSU graduation ring for Hayden before passing away. After the ceremony he talks about the honor of wearing his grandfather’s ring.
All these FSU graduates will be able to proudly wear their rings during Spring Commencement on May 1-3, 2015.
