Legislative Session | Issues in Education June 2013

In this episode of Issues in Education, we take a look at what happened during the 2013 Legislative Session for Higher Education in the state. FSU President Eric Barron and WFSU-TV’s Suzanne Smith talk with FSU’s Assistant Vice president for Governmental Relations, Kathleen Daly about the University’s goals for the lawmakers and how those hopes lined up with the end results. Among the topics: Funding, Preeminence, and PECO funds. Dr. Barron also discusses the impact these decisions will have the University in the short- and long-term.
