Film School and Digital Domain | Issues in Education (June 2011)

In this episode, Issues in Education looks at the recent announcement by Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts that it is teaming up with Digital Domain Media Group. FSU’s President Eric Barron and WFSU-TV’s Suzanne Smith are joined by Dean Frank Patterson of the Film School to talk about the collaboration. They discuss the new institute that will be created as well as the new opportunities for students and research. Dr. Barron also discusses the economic impact surrounding this type of partnership and the potential impact of the recently decided Legislative budget on the University.
