What exactly does a provost do? In this episode of Issues in Education, Florida State President Dr. Eric Barron and WFSU-TV’s Suzanne Smith talk with the new Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at FSU. Dr. Garnett Stokes started this past August in the position. Not only do they talk about her role as provost of a university, but also about her background and her vision for FSU. Dr. Barron also looks at other recent hires at the university as well as his priorities for the upcoming Florida legislative session.
