Seeping arctic methane could damage Florida Coast

Methane gas, a powerful greenhouse gas, is seeping out of the arctic cryosphere, causing climate to warm and sea level to rise at an accelerated rate. Florida State University professor Jeff Chanton and a team of researchers believe coastal areas in Florida could be severely affected by this problem within the next 50 to 100 years.
