A whale of a read-a-thon

Readers at Florida State University embark upon a mighty undertaking: reading Herman Melville’s Moby Dick aloud, from start to finish, in 24 hours (or so). Phyllis Pancella shoves off Monday morning, reading page one in full costume, inside Florida State’s Robert Manning Strozier Library. Other students and faculty will follow and read fifteen minute segments of the lengthy novel until complete.
