The Women for FSU | Issues in Education (October 2010)

Issues in Education looks at an organization that taps the history of The Florida State University as a source of support for FSU’s future. FSU President Eric Barron and WFSU-TV’s Suzanne Smith talk with FSU supporters Cherie Rowland and Jane Morgan about “The Women for FSU.” While the organization was founded in 2008, it uses the historic Florida State College for Women as its inspiration and draws on the often-overlooked resource of women as a source for mentors, volunteers and donors. Dr. Barron also discusses the status of his plans for the FSU Foundation, the new hires in his administration, and the opening of the newly renovated Ruby Diamond Auditorium.
