Share Your Story: I Want To Be A Lawn

Margaret Steele is a 1952 graduate of Florida State University. Much like today, Margaret says the campus was exceptionally beautiful while she was in school. She remembers fresh flowers grown and displayed all over campus, and lush green spaces where students could relax a socialize. It was all so lovely to Margaret and her friends, that when other students began to soil it they went into action.
