Share Your Story: Mad Man on Campus

Many people are familiar with the culture of the advertising empire that was New York City’s Madison Avenue in the 1960’s and 70’s through the popular AMC television show Mad Men. Bill Smith lived it. And now as a Florida State University Assistant Professor in the School of Communications, he shares his real world lessons and experiences with his students. What some of them may not know, however, is that Bill Smith was himself a bright eyed young student at Florida State once, and it was a couple of his professors that he says helped get him to the great heights of the Big Apple.
