FSU’s Office of Inspector General Services seeks reaccreditation

On March 22, 2023, the FSU Office of Inspector General Services (OIGS) will undergo an onsite inspection by a team of assessors from the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA), who will evaluate OIGS’s policies, procedures, management, and operations for compliance with specific requirements and prescribed standards as set forth by the CFA.

The assessment team will determine OIGS’ compliance with 47 applicable standards in order to retain accredited status. Accreditation assessments occur every three years and the full Commission will make the determination of reaccreditation status once the assessment has been completed and reported.

The public is invited to offer comments to the assessment team regarding OIGS’s ability to comply with CFA standards.

Comments may be submitted in writing to CFA, PO Box 1489, Tallahassee, Florida 32302 or via email at flaccreditation@fdle.state.fl.us.
