Florida State University’s Career Center will be hosting the Disney College Program for a series of recruiting events and student professional development workshops March 4-6.

Each semester, the Disney College Program hosts college students representing 1,600 colleges and universities. Over the past 12 years, the program has connected with interested students primarily virtually, but recruiters will return to on-campus recruitment this year at 60 schools, including FSU.

“We are thrilled to welcome the Disney College Program back to the Florida State University campus for in-person recruiting,” said Leslie Mille, interim director of The Career Center. “This partnership underscores our commitment to providing students with unique and transformative opportunities that go beyond the conventional classroom setting, helping to cultivate well-rounded individuals equipped with the skills and experiences needed to thrive in today’s dynamic world.”

FSU will host Disney College Program recruiters Jeff Hickman and Savone James.

“The Disney College Program has been in existence since 1981, and since its origins, we have seen hundreds of stellar Florida State students complete our program,” said Hickman, Disney College Programs and Int’l Recruitment manager. “To this day, FSU continues to be one of our very best partner schools.”

During their visit, Hickman and James will deliver professional development workshops to give students valuable insights and practical strategies to foster career readiness.

The “Get to Know the Disney College Program” information sessions for students will be held on Monday, March 4 from 4:45-5:45 PM in the Dunlap Success Center, The Career Center, Room 2201/2202 and Tuesday, March 5 from 3:30-4:30 PM at the Dunlap Success Center, The Career Center in Room 1006.

FSU faculty and staff are invited to the Disney College Program Faculty and Staff Meet and Greet for informal, drop-in networking and coffee between 9-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, in the Employer Lounge of the FSU Career Center (3rd Floor, Dunlap Success Center).
