
Florida State University will highlight its internationalization and global awareness efforts during its Celebration of International Education from Oct. 27 through Dec. 5.
With more than 100 international agreements, including cooperative agreements and bilateral exchange agreements, FSU fosters faculty collaborations and student exchanges across the globe. FSU’s international impact is significant, with European study centers in England, Spain and Italy, a branch campus in the Republic of Panama, global exchanges in 21 different countries and 2,790 enrolled international students on campus this semester representing over 125 countries.

Albie Sachs, former justice of South Africa’s Constitutional Court, will speak on “Presidents & Power: How South Africa’s Highest Court Held Nelson Mandela and Two Other Presidents Accountable to the Constitution.” A reception at 4:30 p.m. will precede his talk, and a book signing will follow. This lecture is presented as part of FSU’s Ruth K. and Shepard Broad International Lecture Series.
