The Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship at Florida State University honored seven FSU graduates who are making their mark as entrepreneurs at its 13th annual “7 Under 30” event.
The event was held Wednesday, Nov. 13, at the Jim Moran Building in downtown Tallahassee and spotlighted seven successful FSU alumni entrepreneurs who started businesses before the age of 30.
“Our Annual ‘7 Under 30’ Speaker Series offers a special opportunity to celebrate the remarkable achievements of FSU alumni entrepreneurs who have demonstrated the drive and determination to break barriers and launch successful businesses,” said Susan Fiorito, dean of the Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship. “This year’s event shines a spotlight on alumni from five different colleges including our very own JMC, Business, Education,Health, and Human Sciences, Fine Arts and Dedman College of Hospitality, who are not only leading their industries but also inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs.”
Each of the seven honorees spoke and offered their thoughts on starting and growing their business. Their talks were followed by a Q&A session.
