Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinic provides support for families

Hear from a local family that has found the benefit in partnering with the Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinic. Recently the Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinic partnered with Capital Health Plan, a regional insurance company, to offer services and established a new opportunity through children’s medical services and the Tallahassee Pediatric Foundation to provide group services to children and parents in the surrounding counties at no charge to the families. For ten weeks, this summer the clinic will participate in group counseling sessions with children experiencing anxiety as well as social skills training with children on the autism spectrum.
