Florida State University researchers look to knock out teen fighting

Florida State University associate professor Kevin Beaver and FSU doctoral student Joseph Schwartz recently conducted a study that links adolescents fighting to a drop in IQ scores.  Their study shows that for every two physical fights a year for boys, there is a two to four point drop in IQ score.  For girls, just a single physical fight per year is the same as a three point drop.
