Assistant Professor Braidyn Lazenby’s research interests include interpersonal health communication – specifically how we talk about our bodies and food – and how those conversations influence perceptions of health, health outcomes and health behaviors. Some of her previous research has focused on stigmatized conditions, eating disorders, and fad diets, among many other things. Her research can be found in journals such as Health Communication, Qualitative Health Research, Social Science and Medicine, and more.
