Florida State University will host a Celebration of Life to pay tribute to President Emeritus John Thrasher at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, in Ruby Diamond Concert Hall.
Thrasher, who passed away May 30 at the age of 81, served as the university’s 15th president from 2014 to 2021.
The celebration is open to the campus community and members of the public. Doors will open at noon.
Parking will be available in the lots adjacent to the Westcott Building, where Ruby Diamond Concert Hall is located.
