All students, whether returning to Florida State University or new to campus, are invited to participate in the official kickoff for the spring 2026 semester with “Welcome FSU” events starting Tuesday, Jan. 6 through Friday, Jan. 16.
Each semester, the Division of Student Affairs (DSA) coordinates a series of activities and experiences through “Welcome FSU” to help students explore new opportunities and to meet others. They can learn about student organizations, fraternities, sororities, intramural sports, as well as the many resources offered at FSU to help them navigate collegiate life successfully.
“We love highlighting our campus events, sharing ways to get involved and providing resources and activities so students feel at home while attending FSU,” said Amy Hecht, vice president for Student Affairs. “Our hope is that they find a community they want to be part of and keep engaging in areas that matter to them outside their classroom experience.”
Below are some of the “Welcome FSU” spring events. For more “Welcome FSU” information and the full spring schedule, visit welcome.fsu.edu.
