10th annual President’s Ring Ceremony

Florida State University’s class of 2015 receives class rings from FSU president John Thrasher in a special ceremony in Ruby Diamond Concert Hall. Senior Hayden Jernigan was part of a special moment during this year’s ceremony, because Jernigan’s ring is a bit older than most. Jernigan’s grandfather, Robert Jernigan, left his 1958 FSU graduation ring for Hayden before passing away. After the ceremony he talks about the honor of wearing his grandfather’s ring.
