Florida State poised to benefit from passage of pre-eminence bill

Florida State University becomes one of two state public universities designated to "pre-eminent" status with the signing of Senate Bill 1076.  The university will receive an extra 75 million dollars in funding over the next five years that will go towards hiring faculty members and escalating research.
