Florida State University celebrated graduating Department of Art students with three exhibitions during the Spring 2025 semester. These showcases marked the culmination of the students’ academic journeys, highlighting the strength of their work and the creative and technical growth developed through their coursework.

Origins & Afterlives

“Origins & Afterlives” showcased the work of Lua Barbosa, Katie Grinell, Jillian Heusohn, Kalee Iturrioz, Hannah Keats, Tevin Lewis, Liz Masterson, Audrey McKenzie, Chole Sailor, Kim Springs and Alina Valenzuela.

Everything I’ve Ever Known

The exhibition featured the work of Clay Barczak, Emmie Bryson, Lily Crocamo, Rachel Holsonback, Sophia Jusino, Angela McCall, Nicolina Morr, Rachel Ostrander, Anna Parsons, Kaylee Sibelle, Gabrielle Shakir, Anna Speer and Alexandra Vergopia.

STOPGAP

This exhibition hosted by the League of Graduate Artists was a celebration of work by students graduating from the Bachelor of Arts studio art program. An opening reception for “STOPGAP” was held Friday, May 2 at the Carnaghi Arts Building.
