The FSU baseball team claimed its second Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Championship in three years, culminating with a 7-3 victory in Sunday’s title game at Louisville Slugger Field. This weekend, the Seminoles will host an NCAA Regional for the seventh consecutive year and 19th time in the past 21 years.

President John Thrasher presided over three commencement ceremonies May 5 and 6 as Florida State University awarded degrees to about 6,800 students this spring. Commencement speakers shared their wisdom and graduates provided some incredible moments, giving the Class of 2017 a lifelong memory.

The Big Story: January 9, 2017

Barry Jenkins (’03) and a team of fellow FSU College of Motion Picture Arts alumni have received international praise for their film “Moonlight.” The film and its FSU alumni team had a big night on Sunday, winning Best Motion Picture – Drama at the Golden Globes. FSU film professor Valliere Richard Auzenne remembers Jenkins as a “dream student.”
