Patrick, an expert in pharmaceuticals, has more than 30 years of experience directing pharmacology courses for students of dentistry, pharmacy and medicine, and has participated in major curricular revisions and accreditation self-studies at medical schools.
Patrick’s research has dealt with substances of abuse, particularly sedative and opioid drugs, including dependence, tolerance, biodisposition, and neurochemistry.
