Florida State ranks high on U.S. ‘College Scorecard’

Florida State University ranks high on the U.S. Department of Education’s College Scorecard, which ranks the nation’s colleges and universities on the basis of their affordability and value.

U.S. News & World Report ranked Florida State at the very top of its list of the nation’s more efficient universities in producing the highest quality education.

Florida State’s Board of Trustees has formed a team of business leaders to find additional efficiencies, and to work closely with a university task force, as well as faculty, students and staff to ensure the largest possible return on Florida’s investment in higher education.

The latest U.S. News & World Report rankings place Florida State No. 42 among the best public universities in the U.S. The university has developed a comprehensive plan to increase the ranking to the top 25.
