Florida State University gives a final farewell to 4,000 students at the 2012 Spring Commencement ceremonies. Leading evolutionary biologist E.O. Wilson, United States Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade Francisco Sanchez and ESPN college football analyst Lee Corso preside as the commencement speakers for the ceremonies.
FSU Teach program receives $50,000 gift
Representatives from JP Morgan Chase Bank join students and staff from the FSU Teach program to announce a $50,000 gift. The funding will go towards FSU Teach’s induction program, which provides financial support for new teachers.

2012 Heritage Day Celebration
Florida State University welcomes back the Class of 1962 for its 2012 Heritage Day celebration. The commemorative event featured a rededication of green space adjacent to the FSU's Westcott Building in honor of Mina Jo Powell and the unveiling of two stained-glass windows inside Dodd Hall.

Florida State University welcomes military families participating in its first ever Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans' Families. FSU is one of only two universities offering the EBV-F program, which teaches the basics of entrepreneurship.
