04/11/2011 - Florida State celebrates its Heritage
Florida State University celebrates 160 years with its annual Heritage Day celebration. A special ceremony is held April 8, 2011, offering a sneak peak of the university's new Heritage Museum in the Werkmeister Reading Room in Dodd Hall. As part of the ceremony, 16 commemorative stained-glass windows are unveiled, all created by the university's own Master Craftsman Program. The museum is set to open in Fall of 2011.
