A Florida State University researcher found that African American children tend to be diagnosed later in life for Autism than white children. Dr. Martell Teasley, an Associate Professor of Social Work at FSU, co-authored a research paper on the subject with two other professors.

Philanthropists Al and Judy Dunlap have pledged $5 Million dollars to help build an indoor practice facility for the Seminole Football Program. The facility will rival other indoor facilities at major universities across the nation.

Joyce Ehrlinger, an assistant professor of psychology, has long been fascinated with individuals identified among psychologists as “maximizers.” Maximizers tend to obsess over decisions — big or small — and then fret about their choices later. “Satisficers,” on the other hand, tend to make a decision and then live with it.

Florida State University officials joined city and county leaders for the groundbreaking ceremony of the new College Town development project. College Town will be a residential, dining, shopping, and entertainment district located south of the FSU campus.

Florida State University kicks off its first ever 36-hour online giving campaign. In honor of FSU’s 161st birthday, ‘The Great Give’ will run until January 24th at 9pm with a fundraising goal of $161,000.
