2012 Dalton Institute on College Student Values
The 2012 Jon C. Dalton Institute on College Student Values kicked off with a service project at America’s Second Harvest of the Big Bend. Social entrepreneurialism was the theme of the conference and featured many guest speakers including the institute's founder, Jon C. Dalton.
Preserving FSU's historic monuments
FSU Manager of Outdoor Amenities John Raulerson is taking on the daunting task of making sure all of Florida State University’s priceless sculptures will stand the test of time. Raulerson and his crew spent many hours working on FSU’s Integration Statue, which is one of the largest and most important monuments on campus.
Three FSU students help peers make money by studying
A trio of Florida State University business students created a website, Moolaguides.com, that allows their peers to buy and sell their class lecture notes. Students using the site have made more than $90,000 in the past two semesters and have sold more than 14,000 study guides.
College Town groundbreaking
Ground was broken today on College Town, a residential, dining, shopping and entertainment district to be located just south of the Florida State University campus. Administrators from Florida State were joined by officials from the city of Tallahassee and Seminole Boosters at the morning ceremony, which launched the first phase of College Town.
